From Study Skills Workshops to Guest Speakers NURSOC offer a wide variety of general and field specific learning development experiences tailored to suit you!!
DEVELOPING YOUR SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
The degree in Nursing programme is like no other! Juggling theory and placement with existing family and work commitments can be demanding in itself, let alone attempting to squeeze in, dare we say it, a social life!! At NURSOC we understand the demands of your degree but also recognise the importance of needing some down time. NURSOC hold a wide range of social events for members to get together and celebrate our achievements.

NURSOC is a student led Society which aims to help you make the most of your time as a Student Nurse, creating a Nursing family and helping to shape the future of Nursing. With both social and educational events on offer NURSOC hopes to help you reach your full potential!!

NURSOC are also very aware of the continually changing political environment and the impact this will have on both Nursing Students and the future on Nursing within the UK. NURSOC aim to engage with both local and national organisations, as well as other University Nursing Societies, to ensure the voice of nursing students is heard and our opinions taken on board!
