NurSoc's Student Nurse Buddy Network scheme brings together students from different year groups to form one-to-one mentoring relationships. The benefits of getting involved are numerous. By committing a small amount of time to mentoring every week, you can really get ahead and make the most of your time at University of Wolverhampton.

For mentees, the scheme provides a great source of support from someone who is a few steps ahead in their university career. For mentors, not only are you providing invaluable assistance to another University of Wolverhampton Nursing student, you're developing transferable skills, meeting new people and gaining some great experience for your CV. Peer Mentoring is a voluntary scheme which is flexible, confidential, informal and fits around your availability and preferences. All mentees and mentors will receive a certificate of participation which can be included within your portfolio and will be valuable for future placement or job applications.
